Insurance Verification Agent

We are looking for an Insurance Verification Agent who will be part of a Healthcare account and will be based onsite in Ormoc City. The Insurance Verification agent is responsible for insurance and billing coordinator tasks, specifically verifying dental insurance coverage and pre-authorizations for treatment.

Responsibilities

• Verifying dental insurance coverage, including Medicaid.
• Verifying pre-authorizations for treatment (if needed)
• Ensure accurate data entry into Denticon of the insurance plan information
• Communicating any required or missing info to the dental teams
• Work with assigned practice teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Various other duties as requested by the supervisor.
• Ensuring that patient information remains confidential.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively coordinate care between patient and medical teams
• Acute attention to details and accuracy of work
• High level of tech skills: G Suite, Spreadsheets, and potentially other tools
• Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets
• Preferably with previous experience as a MEDICAL ASSISTANT or MEDICAL SERVICES SALES PERSON
• Flexible and accommodating personality (Friendly and compassionate, to nurture the patient-healthcare provider relationship based on mutual trust)
• Experience and strong drive towards data quality
• Familiar with Patient Management Systems or Healthcare BPO Background is an advantage
• Has a strong attitude towards excellence and a desire to learn
• Has interest in working in a sales-driven environment
• Must be able to quickly build rapport with patients of different nationalities, cultures and age groups
• Can push conversation forward with confidence when asked questions that may not be answered by scripts or training or are confronted with unusual circumstances or personalities
