Senior Business Development Manager

Job Overview: 


As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new clients, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting our comprehensive suite of BPO services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the BPO or related industry, with a proven track record of exceeding targets and developing successful sales strategies.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Business Development Representatives, providing guidance and support to help them achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets, acquire new clients, and expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target industries, understanding their pain points and offering tailored BPO solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs, and use this knowledge to develop compelling sales propositions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and proposals that showcase our BPO capabilities and value proposition.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring smooth handover to the operations team.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management, including sales forecasts, revenue projections, and pipeline analysis.
  • Stay informed about evolving market dynamics, industry regulations, and emerging technologies impacting the BPO landscape, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and client onboarding.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and build networks within the BPO industry.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the BPO industry, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the BPO industry, including various service offerings, industry trends, and client needs across different sectors.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with experience in contract negotiations and deal closure.
