Virtual Assistant/Business Development

Responsibilities:

  • Researching organizations web sites and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
  • Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business
  • Collaborate with sales and account management team to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
  • Train junior salespeople to improve sales goals and meet expectations
  • Developing quotes, proposals, and contracts for clients

Skills and Requirements:

  • At least college level
  • Impeccable phone skills (B2C / B2B)
  • About 2-3 years of proven sales experience in business or a related area
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities
  • Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments
  • Excellent comprehension skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements, such as using software programs and machines
  • Knowledgeable in navigating and using LinkedIn and other tools or sites for lead mining
  • Able to multitask and handle different levels of workload
  • Willing to work during holidays, weekends, and whenever client demands
  • Excellent team player and coachable
