Business Development Representative

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct outbound campaigns to potential leads using provided sequences, scripts, and guidelines
  • Follow up with inbound queries from the website, social media, and other channels
  • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their needs and pain points
  • Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and gather relevant information
  • Document and maintain accurate records of all interactions and lead status in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine lead generation strategies
  • Utilize various communication channels (calls, emails, social media, etc.) to connect with prospects
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to tailor conversations effectively
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills through training and feedback
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly lead generation targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide feedback and insights to enhance lead generation processes and strategies


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in inbound and outbound lead generation, or sales development is advantageous
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as HubSpot, or similar tools
  • Proficiency in using communication tools like email, LinkedIn, and social media for prospecting and engagement
  • Previous exposure to inbound marketing concepts and strategies is a plus
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting to track the effectiveness of lead generation efforts
  • Basic knowledge of sales and marketing techniques, including lead scoring and segmentation
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools used for lead generation and customer relationship management
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools or platforms that can enhance lead generation efforts (e.g. lead databases, outreach automation)
